About Us
The City of Ralston has broken ground and is on schedule for their 3500 seat, two sheet of
ice sports and event center. Located in the Ralston/Omaha metro area, the arena will be home
to many sporting events as well as concerts and other activities.
The arena will feature all types of entertainment and with the free parking the arena will be
home to some of the most sought after attractions. Follow our progress on Facebook.
News Ralston Hires General Manager
On December 6, the Ralston City Council approved a contract with the new General Manager of the arena. Curtis Webb has been hired as the general manager and will be an employee of the city. Curtis brings to the project an extensive array of arena experience, including experience in the construction phase of a project.
Curtis has worked at various faclities in the United States and Canada. He possesses a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Sports Management. Curtis will begin his new job the on January 9, 2012. Until the arena is built, he will have an office at Ralston City Hall. As part of his first days in the position, he will identify other key positions needed and when those positions will be filled. All new positions will be advertised under the employment opportunities page of this site. As a reminder, any resume for any position not adverstised, will not be considered.

The inside scoop
The inside of the facility is over 95,000 sq.ft of opportunity. Home of the Omaha Lancer Hockey team, the facility boasts of opportunity. The front of the facility is a reception area that is about 6000 sq. ft. that can seat about 400 people for receptions, meetings, parties, and other uses.
The ability to cover the ice and transition the floor from one type of use to another is going to be instrumental in the efficient operation of the facility.
The mulitple locker rooms will enable us to host tournaments of all types as well as practice for other events. With practice ice time going quickly to area ice related organizations, the facility will be a hub of all kinds of activities.
The 12 suites will give people the environment they desire to view events and concerts alike.
The ability to facilitate semi-trucks and buses at one end will make this a great solution for the customer that needs to get equipment or people into the facility .
