The Kerrie On Family Benefit
On June 28, a fundraiser will be held for the family of fallen Omaha Police Officer Kerrie Orozco. Officer Orozco was killed while serving with the Metro Fugitive Task Force on May 20, 2015. She leaves behind her husband, two step children and newborn daughter, Olivia Ruth.
It is our hope to raise awareness of the many local causes she supported while raising money for the future needs of her family.
The fundraiser starts with a 3K Walk and 5K Run beginning and ending at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena. Start time is 9am. Strollers and dogs are welcome. Registration is $30/person. Register today at for the 3K Walk and 5K Run.
Activities from 11am-7pm include raffles, live music, food, silent auction, community fair, kids activities, entertainment and beverages.
Free Shuttle
Enjoy the free shuttle from Horsemen's Park on 6303 Q St and the Liberty First Credit Union Arena from 11am-7pm during the benefit. Park by the Southeast Entrance.
Live Music
There will be live music from widely acclaimed recording artist Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October (6:15-7pm) and also the bands 6 Degrees West, ENVy, and Torn.

Silent Auction
If you would like to donate items for the silent auction, please drop off donated auction items at the Omaha Police Officers Association Hall at 13445 Cryer Ave, Omaha, NE Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
